how i heart vintage works
Thank you for visiting I Heart Vintage. We are so excited about this venture. Of course, the most important thing for us is that we get to source beautiful vintage items and share the love with you, our readers. But in order to ensure things run smoothly we have a couple of house rules that we will probably tweak and change as we learn and develop.
Here they are…
- You can buy items by commenting on the post or mailing us at findus@copyink.co.za
- We will work on a first come, first served basis
- Should you wish to try on or collect an item you can do so by appointment. We are based in the Southern Suburbs and will provide the address once you’ve been in touch
- Returns will be accepted within 7 days if the item is in the condition it was when we sold it
- Delivery is free
- Full payment needs to be made before delivery

lazing on a sunny afternoon
We are very excited about the onset of summer in this house. It feels like little Jimmy’s whole life has been cold and wintery. His wee body has never had a chance to feel the warmth of a sunny afternoon, so we are making the most of it now.
My work keeps me busy most of the day and I have a job in the evenings as an online news editor too, so after the kiddos nap time I try to close up the laptop and spend some time with them. That is so much easier when it’s sunny. Two-year-olds are entertained by everything from watching snails to picking mama’s (precious few) flowers and happily Jimmy is entertained by everything she does. So our tiny garden is basically an adventure playground. Long may it be so.
I recently purchased this Fischer Price bumper seat off Kinderelo, which is an amazing online resource. It’s stocked with everything you need/want/must have for your kiddos. I ordered the chair on the Wednesday and it arrived on the Friday, no jokes. I was impressed. We have since used it every day. Inside at meal times and outside at snack times.
