what bailey wore

I started a hashtag on my Instagram account of some of Bailey’s outfits #whatbaileywore … It’s so fun dressing little ones. I hope she’ll let me dress her for a little while longer – most mornings she wakes up and insists on wearing a dress. We don’t have a million dresses so often I have to say no and she can’t understand. Also she says her favourite colours are pink and purple… together. Yikes. For now I’ll enjoy creating these little outfits for her while I can.

kiddo clothes you want for yourself

The day has come where I get as excited about clothes for my littles as I do for myself. Which is why Sticky Fudge is such a delight. They have mini-clothes so cute you want them in adult sizes.

Liza shared Bailey and Robert’s wishlist a couple of weeks ago, and here is Willow and Jimmy’s. Don’t you just love!

sticky fudge is pretty rad

We’ve got it pretty good these days when it comes to options for dressing the littles. Although I dream of being able to shop all those amazing European and US brands, it’s really not worth the money after exchange rates and shipping costs – especially when said littles grow so quickly. Seriously, this winter I’ve had to buy Bailey almost a whole new wardrobe?! Thankfully, we have great brands right here on our doorstep, like Sticky Fudge. Locally designed and made from 100% cotton, they get it so right. No garish super heroes and primary colours! Read more about them here.

I created my dream Sticky Fudge outfits for Bailey and Robert… what do you think?

free play

Instead of feeling guilty about the fact that we don’t have time for any organised “mums and tots” group, Liza and I thought we’d utilise our current situation so that it works for both our boys and us. Genius! Well, not really. We just thought that once a week we’d take time to sit on the floor and let our babies interact with us and each other, learn some balls skills and explore at will. We have managed once so far and it was fun. The boys are very sweet together, they acknowledge each other every now and then with a push or an affectionate whack but otherwise they just explore at their own pace. It’s so cute to watch. We’re going to try and do it once a week.

These pics are extra cute because they are both looking very hip and trendy in their tops from Love Baby online baby clothing store. Jamesy’s very awesome fox top is by Petit Pois and Robbie’s bike tee is by Sticky Fudge. Love Baby stocks some of the most ridiculously cute stuff. Hip and convenient – just what you need as a busy working mama. Check it out and be inspired.
